Chippenham Golf Centre
Chippenham Golf Centre is a golf facility that includes a driving range, golf shop, mini golf and par 3 golf course. Cumberwell Park
Since opening in 1994 Cumberwell Park has established itself as one of the best courses in the South West and has been awarded four stars in Golf World’s Top Courses in Britain.
The original 18 holes – the Red and Yellow – opened in 1994, the 3rd 9 holes – the Blue course – opened in 1999 and the 4th 9 holes – the Orange course – in 2007. All the courses, designed by Adrian Stiff, provide different challenges for golfers of every ability. The courses encompass a wonderful blend of rolling countryside, lakes, streams, natural copse and woodland. The most recent addition is the superb 9 hole par 3 course, designed by James Edwards, whilst there is another 9 hole par 3 already in the pipeline. They also have superb practice facilities, including a driving range, short game area and putting greens.

Westbury Golf Club
Westbury Golf Club is a members run golf club that offers some of the best value, friendly, quality golf, available in the area. A warm welcome awaits members and visitors alike. It is an attractive 9 hole course set in beautiful mature parkland at the foot of the famous Westbury White Horse. Additional teeing creates variation for a challenging back nine holes.
With gently undulating fairways, the course suits players of all ages, whilst providing a good test for players of all abilities. The 12-bay driving range allows for pre-round practice or a visit in its own right. When you visit you can also enjoy all the facilities of White Horse Country Park.
West Wilts Golf Club
West Wilts is an extremely friendly traditional member’s golf club situated on the edge of Warminster and the Salisbury Plain. The Club was established in 1891 and the course, designed by J H Taylor, has excellent fairways and greens on chalk downland with superb views over 3 counties. Very good playing conditions are enjoyed all year round. The course has characteristics of an inland “links” and being 5790 yards long (Par 69, SSS 68) with 50 bunkers and relatively small greens it provides players of all standards with a fair test of golf. A good short game is essential to score well.
Indoor and outdoor practice facilities are available including a state of the art GC2 golf course simulator and a fully qualified PGA professional (Lawrence Wilkin) for all coaching and equipment needs. Whitley Golf Club
Whitley is famed for its friendly atmosphere, where everyone is welcome to enjoy the golf course, driving range and clubhouse bar facilities. With a relaxed approach, it’s the ideal place to learn and practice.
The 9 hole layout provides a test that challenges all levels of golfer, with a focus on course management necessary to plot your way around the fairways to get to the green. Two sets of tees allow golfers to play 18 holes with a varied approaches. Set out over level ground, the course is sympathetic to the beginner or indeed those who perhaps require a more gentle stroll.
Ultimately, social golf is at the heart of Whitley, and what better way to get exercise and spend time with friends than strolling around the course. Friends and family are always encouraged to use the clubhouse and club facilities. While membership options are available, the casual Pay & Play visitors are always welcome.
