Bath Racecourse - Bath Cup
4 Apr 2019

Win tickets to Bath Races!

Enter our competition to win extra special Roof Garden tickets to Bath Racecourse’s Good Friday Racing – their first meeting of the 2019 season!

The Easter long-weekend is the signal that sunshine and longer days are finally on their way. Make the most of the time off from work and get a group together for something a bit special with a trip to Bath Racecourse’s opening fixture of the season – Good Friday Raceday on Friday 19 April.

The perfect excuse to let your hair down, the Good Friday Raceday will see seven thrilling horseraces with entries battling it out to win a share of the record £190,000 total prize pot. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never been racing before, the atmosphere as horses gallop towards the finishing line is infectious and you’ll soon be cheering along.

Whether you want a day out for the whole family or a child-free day with friends, the Good Friday Raceday is a great way to start the Easter weekend. A good value day out for families, not only do under 18s get FREE entry but there will be loads of free entertainment to keep older children and little ones happy throughout the day (as well as being good fun for the adults too!). They’ll be a dedicated family area with a funfair, pony rides, an Easter egg hunt with appearance from the Easter bunny, ride on toys perfect for toddlers, and face painting. All included for free.

For groups of friends and people looking to celebrate, they’ll be plenty of delicious food and drink available to keep everyone happy. Plus live music by the incredible genre-bashing Mr Wilson’s Second Liners – a New Orleans style street band who’ll be playing throughout the day.

Bath Racecourse is located north of Bath City centre and is easily accessed from Bristol and the M4 with plenty of free parking. Alternatively, there’s a bus service from outside Bath Spa train station.

If you book in advance then you’ll benefit from an advance booking discount and a special family ticket option but there will also be tickets available on the day. Tickets for adults cost £22 in advance.

There are lots of activities to keep kids entertained throughout the day
