WEST WILTS GOLF CLUB

West Wilts is an extremely friendly traditional member’s golf club situated on the edge of Warminster and the Salisbury Plain. The Club was established in 1891 and the course, designed by J H Taylor, has excellent fairways and greens on chalk downland with superb views over 3 counties. Very good playing conditions are enjoyed all year round. The course has characteristics of an inland “links” and being 5754 yards long (Par 70, SSS 68) with 50 bunkers and relatively small greens it provides players of all standards with a fair test of golf. A good short game is essential to score well.
All sections of the Club are very active with matches, competitions, weekly roll-ups, away trips all organized by the men, ladies, mixed groups, seniors and juniors.
Indoor and outdoor practice facilities are available including a state of the art GC2 golf course simulator and a fully qualified PGA professional (Lawrence Wilkin) for all coaching and equipment needs. Visitors and societies are very welcome.

WHITLEY GOLF CLUB
