The Selwood Steam & Vintage Vehicle Rally takes place from Saturday 28 to Monday 30 May.
The Spring Bank Holiday weekend at the end of May will see Southwick, near Trowbridge, come alive with the sights and sounds of yesteryear as Selwood Steam & Vintage Vehicle Preservation Society hold their annual steam and vintage rally.
The event is open from Saturday to Monday from 10am to 5pm each day and aims to display an extensive range of nostalgic exhibits, most of which can be seen working. Entry prices are just £6 for Adults, Seniors £4 and Children aged 5 to 16 £2.
Attractions include, military vehicles, steam engines, both large and small, vintage cars, tractors, commercial vehicles and day and evening live entertainment in the beer tent. A notable first for the show this year is the Burrell Showman’s engine ‘The Masterpiece’, which was built in 1898 and is the oldest original double crank compound showman’s engine in existence – not to be missed. In all it’s a fun day out for all the family. For more information see the website, or head to their Facebook page for the latest information and news.
