Be at the first home game of the new season by entering our competition to win a pair of tickets to Bath v Newcastle Falcons on Saturday 10 September.
There have been soap operas with duller storylines than the goings on at Farleigh House over the last few months, with players and coaches arriving and departing, quashed rumours of Bruce Craig selling the club, and plenty more. But with new coaches announced, and with renewed enthusiasm and optimism, Bath Rugby are set to begin their new season away against Northampton Saints on Saturday 3 September. Their first home game sees them face Newcastle Falcons, on Saturday 10 September, KO 3pm.
The first home game will give supporters a first glimpse of some of Bath’s new signings for the 2016/17 season, which include Wales’ Taulupe Faletau and Luke Charteris, Samoan scrum half Kahn Fotuali’i and young English hooker Jack Walker. Fans will also be able to welcome back England players George Ford, Jonathan Joseph and Anthony Watson following their 3-0 series win down under over the summer. Springbok Francois Louw, meanwhile, is expected to be away with South Africa playing in the Rugby Championship.
